✍️ Spree Commerce Developer Covenant
Vendo, as the copyright holder of Spree Commerce 4.10 or later versions, as well as some Spree extensions, commits that:
- We will not enforce AGPLv3 Section 13 (code disclosure requirement) against users who modify Spree and use it to operate a single-tenant online store for their own business or their client’s business.
- This covenant is not a change to the AGPLv3 license. Rather, it’s our good-faith commitment to support the developer community while adhering to AGPLv3’s spirit and obligations in commercial settings.
- This covenant applies only to cases where Spree is not offered as a multi-tenant service or a SaaS product or otherwise commercially distributed Spree-based product.
In case of any questions, feel free to
- read the full clarification here: Spree under AGPLv3 may be used privately
